What will you do?

The Finance department consists of a compact and close team: a Finance manager, a F&B controller, administrator and a F&B intern. As a result, there is plenty of room for your own initiative and ideas. During your internship you will support the finance department in different areas. During this internship we offer you the opportunity to work on your personal learning goals. We like to involve you in our daily activities so that you can learn from the professionals around you. We do this by, for example, taking you to suppliers as part of a negotiation, contract renewal or relationship management. You will also be given a lot of responsibility within different projects.

Projects you can work on include:
  • Initiating "standard operating procedures" (SOP) for the purpose of controlling cash and goods flows and ensuring compliance with these SOPs.
  • Reporting to board and restaurant management including gross margin p/product, mix effects, category analyses and inventory management
  • Analysis of supplier statistics for purposes of annual interviews
  • Bonus calculations for the purpose of rebates (January-February)
  • Liaise with supplier regarding purchase statistics, pricing arrangements, promotional activities and possible operational challenges

For us, you are the perfect colleague if you;

  • Studying a college degree, preferably hotel management;
  • Be eager to learn, structured and organized;
  • Have good communication and written skills;
  • not hesitate to pick up the phone instead of always emailing;
  • Be proactive and a team player;
  • a good knowledge of computer programs such as Word and Excel and have an affinity for numbers
  • Are available from September 2022 for a minimum of five months.
