The Harbour Club, met vestigingen in Amsterdam, Den Haag, Eindhoven, Rotterdam en Vinkeveen heeft de Runder Bavette van Redefine Meat toegevoegd aan hun gloednieuwe menu. Het restaurant is hiermee de derde aanbieder van de plantaardige steak, die vorig jaar november werd gelanceerd in Amsterdam. Het plantaardige vlees wordt met een 3D-printer gemaakt en bestaat uit plantaardige eiwitten van soja of erwten en plantaardige olie. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Het is voor het eerst dat The Harbour Club plantaardig vlees in haar menu opneemt. Chef Daniel van Ettinger licht toe: \u201cAl jaren hebben we verschillende vegetarische opties op onze kaart, maar altijd ging het puur om gerechten zonder vlees of vis. Omdat we bij The Harbour Club enkel met de beste producten werken was plantaardig vlees lang geen optie, maar de steak van Redefine Meat heeft daar verandering in gebracht. Van de structuur tot aan de smaak, alles klopt. Het is niet van dierlijk vlees te onderscheiden.\u201d The Harbour Club bereidt de Redefine Runder Bavette met zoetzure groenten en truffel teriyaki. Hij wordt sous vide gegaard en vervolgens afgemaakt op de barbecue.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Naast de nieuwe biefstuk heeft het restaurant zo\u2019n 25 andere nieuwe gerechten aan het menu toegevoegd. Zo keren ter ere van het 10-jarig bestaan van The Harbour Club verschillende oude gerechten terug en is de selectie lunchgerechten uitgebreid. \u201cWat veel mensen vergeten is dat elke vestiging van The Harbour Club de perfecte plek voor zowel een snelle als uitgebreide lunch is. Naast onze speciale lunchgerechten kan men tijdens de lunch ook alle andere gerechten van de kaart bestellen. Van een caesar salad tot sushi en caviaar, er is voor iedereen en voor elke gelegenheid wat wils\u201d, aldus chef van Ettinger.<\/p>\n
