De grootste drag productie uit Europa komt na Rotterdam nu ook naar Amsterdam. The Amsterdam Drag Show is vanaf juli 2022 te zien in The Harbour Club Theater in Amsterdam Oost. Afgelopen weekend vonden de laatste shows van de drag show plaats in Rotterdam, waar het concept vorig jaar tijdens het Eurovisie Songfestival werd gelanceerd.\u00a0 The Rotterdam Drag Show trok al zo\u2019n <\/span><\/b>5000 <\/span><\/b>bezoekers en geeft vanaf volgende maand het stokje over aan Amsterdam. Kaarten voor de shows in The Harbour Club Theater zijn vanaf vandaag verkrijgbaar.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHet voelt een beetje als de omgekeerde wereld, een drag show die geproduceerd is in Rotterdam en daarna naar Amsterdam komt. Vanzelfsprekend ben ik daar super trots op. Met deze show hebben we de wijze waarop een drag show wordt geproduceerd echt wezenlijk veranderd. Fans van drag in Amsterdam, maar zeker ook alle mensen die nieuwsgierig zijn naar deze kunstvorm, hebben vanaf volgende maand een nieuwe fantastische plek om naartoe te gaan. Het gloednieuwe The Harbour Club Theater is een setting waar deze show volledig tot haar recht gaat komen!\u201d, aldus initiatiefnemer Marco Valk. Ook Niels Houtepen, medeoprichter van The Harbour Club Theater, is blij met de stap: \u201cWij zijn vereerd om deze fantastische productie in ons Theater te ontvangen. Met een geweldige cast, bestaande uit <\/span>zeven <\/span>queens van wereldniveau, is dit uitgaan zoals in The Harbour Club Theater bedoeld is. Onze signature bites en dranken, die bezoekers tijdens de show kunnen bestellen, maken de avond compleet\u201d.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Amsterdam Drag Show is een combinatie van zang, dans en comedy. Tijdens een avondvullend programma wordt het publiek vermaakt door de winnares van RuPaul\u2019s dragrace Holland seizoen 1 en hoofd van de \u2018Make Up Your Mind\u2019 jury Envy Peru of de winnares van RuPaul\u2019s dragrace Holland seizoen 2 en 2019 \u00e9n 2020 wereldkampioen drag Vanessa van Cartier, die afwisselend de hoofdrol spelen. Verder bestaat de vaste cast uit Abby OMG en Janey Jack\u00e9 (beide finalist van RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race), Sederginne, Axel Andro en de New Yorkse MC Skyla Versai. De show start om 20.30 uur en wordt afgesloten met een afterparty in aanwezigheid van de queens.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
