The Harbour Club has 6 unique catering establishments throughout Leiden. Your work will mainly take place at the head office in Leiden.<\/p><p><strong>What will you do?<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">During this internship, we offer you the opportunity to work on your personal learning goals. We like to involve you in our daily work so that you can learn from the professionals around you. We do this by, for example, taking you to suppliers as part of negotiations, contract renewal or relationship management. You will also be given a lot of responsibility within different projects.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Projects you can work on include:<\/span><\/p><ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Initiating \"standard operating procedures\" (SOP) for the purpose of controlling cash and goods flows and ensuring compliance with these SOPs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Reporting to board and restaurant management including gross margin p\/product, mix effects, category analyses and inventory management<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of supplier statistics for purposes of annual interviews<\/li>\n<li>Bonus calculations for the purpose of rebates (January-February)<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with supplier regarding purchase statistics, pricing arrangements, promotional activities and possible operational challenges<\/li>\n<\/ul><p><strong>Who are you?<\/strong><\/p><p><span>You are a college student with a good knowledge of computer programs such as Word and Excel and have an affinity with numbers.
